World Migratory Bird Day 2022…We went to this bird watching event in a nature preserve on May 14 and I really gained an appreciation for our bird critters. 🐦
Did you know light pollution is a big problem for our feathered friends? Birds migrate at night because there’s less predators and calmer air space. Nowadays, humans are using more artificial light. The lights attract birds while flying at night, disorients them and leaves them vulnerable to collisions and predation.
Moral of this information tidbit…please care about all these beautiful creatures God made and dim your lights. Here are some tips below…

Thank you God for your incredible feathered creatures and we will try to take better care of them. Amen.
Interesting! I never thought about lights being hazardous to night flying birds.

Hi! I’m thinking you don’t have much night lightening where you live? Some areas have ordinances.
