What’s your best vacation spots?
I have several but my all time favorites include these words in the Airbnb’s description.
“No wifi and cell service”
At first, it’s a super shock to the body and mind, even though I do unplug at home. The fact that I can’t check devices if I want to, messes with even a hard-core introvert.
But then something really awesome happens. I find a whole lot to do with my time, and I suddenly have plenty of it!
The two places where I’ve had no connectivity have been in rural areas. Molina, Colorado and Parks, Arizona. God blessed us with farm animals, wildlife including a black bear looking in our window, beautiful streams and lakes, and nature sounds.
Perfect! Thank you God!
Your turn, best vacation spots and why?
God bless you!
Smith Mountain Lake. Scenic and peaceful.

I have no cell service at the ranch. And have had a day digital detox event, where folks can come and unplug. Out town has a population of about 7500, and one lady said after being at the ranch, going back to town was a sensory overload!

Please look at the comments on my blog. I replied to you but don’t think it went directly to you and it won’t let me copy and paste.

Hi Cindi, Now that’s something to be grateful for. You have my favorites…God, animals and no cell service. And to share that with others is very nice. 👏 👏 👏 I hope you’re having a good Sunday

So many states are so flat and not much to look at. Tennessee and Kentucky are both quite beautiful! I’m in Ky. But I do love Tennessee!

I love quiet farm stays in and around where I live here in Australia. It removes me from suburbia and the serene quiet nature of the farm with the animals is quite refreshing to the soul.
