Hi & MicroPrayer

Hi everyone! How are you? Long time, no blogging for me.

I have an idea I want to share.

Do you sometimes feel like you’re not as close to God as you’d like to be? I do. I know it’s not God that’s moved away; it’s me, and He gave me this idea with a word that fits. MicroPrayer!

MicroPrayer looks like this:

You get up from your nighttime long sleep (or in the case of menopausal women, every 2 hours. haha).

You sit on “the pot” to pee. This is normally not a thing you think about, you just do it, right?

But what if you hyper focused on the action? What if you turned it into a chance to thank God?

“Thank you, God, for all the internal organs you created in me, to seamlessly make this impure waste flow out of me.”

Then, “Thank you, God, for the toilet paper that you ultimately created by creating humans and trees, that results in what I need, so my hands don’t get dirty.”

“Thank you, God, for my legs that still function so I can boost myself off the pot. I am sorry I take my legs for granted.”

“Thank you, God, for the sink that has fresh water. There are so many places that don’t have fresh water or any water.” (I’m especially grateful that Phoenix, where I live, still has water since there’s an influx of people moving here.)

“Thank you, God, for the soap to wash my hands.”

And so on and so forth for every action you take throughout the day!

MicroPrayer laser focuses on being grateful for ALL God’s blessings!

P.S. Thank you God for anyone reading this because that means they have the eye vision you provided, the money to buy some type of electronic thingy (cell phone, tablet etc) to read this, the time you provided to glance at this blog. Please bless us, one and all Lord God, most high. Amen.
