Marriage Tips

Good morning! I’m pretty busy as you probably are, so this is a short blog.

This e-book, “Elizabeth Baxter’s Ten Secrets to a Happy Marriage” by Karen Kingsbury is about 60 pages and packed with perfect advice. Some self help books turn quickly into drudgery; this is written with hope and Godly advice. It is an easy read and motivating.

Both my husband and I read it…ok he read it in 20 minutes, I read it for a week and highlighted, then when we started discussing it, we ignored number 9 immediately and were trying to fix each other. This led to number 7. πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ€£

All is well. Jesus is the reason for the season. ❀

  1. All good advice, Marla! I know of some spouses whose “expectations” are impossibly high, resulting in mounting frustration and regular angry confrontations. Who would want to live with that kind of constant relationship tension? Everyone needs to chill out.

    1. Oh, you gotta get this book Tom or recommend to others. Marriage is sooo hard and this short Christian read (60 pages) will motivate, to understand the spouse more and feel like a person can “do” something, instead of feeling victimized. County libraries offer Hoopla and ebooks are free for 21 days and can be renewed instantly. There is no wait time either. πŸ˜‰πŸ™‚πŸ˜‰
