Don’t Quite Know How to Lead in Prayer at Your Thanksgiving Gathering?

If you need some help praying at your Thanksgiving gathering, my pastor, Sandy Mason, came up with thought-provoking questions to ask your table mates.

At the beginning of your wonderful Thanksgiving meal, have the group shut their eyes, and ask them the following questions while they answer in the silence of their hearts.

Ponder each of these questions.

Can you give thanks:

For your parents, even problematic parents, were they used by God in some way for your benefit?

In your elementary school years, for a teacher, coach, neighbor who believed in you, who was that person who made a positive impact?

In your adolescent years, perhaps when you came to Christ, who was the most important person?

For your spiritual mentors, people who disciple you in your faith?

For the hard things, challenging things, that God has used to shape you, grow you?

Happy Thanksgiving to all! GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME! Thank you God for EVERYTHING!
