I see Jesus in you

Good Friday blog.

Jesus is selfless.

I just saw Jesus in a close relative and feel the need to share.

We have a close relative that within 1.5 months, found out she has cancer, got many tests (bloodwork and scans), had such pain that a trip to ER was necessary, is currently suffering through both chemo and radiation, along with side effects. And this is all occurring during a pandemic where compromised immune systems are at risk.

Is she complaining?

No. Instead, she sent my husband a cheerful, caring text message for his birthday this week. That showed Jesus love.

She took it one step further. My husband got a beautiful birthday card yesterday, with a handwritten note and a gift. She stepped out of all her sufferings to love another. That is selfless.

I see Jesus in you.
